Tramlines Festival is one of the largest completely free events in the UK and takes place between Friday 22nd and Sunday 24th July 2011. Last year's event was attended by over 130,000 people with many more expected this year. The festival has grown considerably and now includes 4 stages and 70 venues across Sheffield. Already confirmed for the Sunday Main Stage are; Ash, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Dry the River, The Crookes, and the Everley Pregnant Brothers. Joining them across the festival are Los Campesinos, Dananananaykroyd, David Rodigan, Toddla T, Ms Dynamite, Shy FX, Hiem, Starlings, Renegade Brass Band, The Ruby Kid, Dels, and Rolo Tomassi. The World Stage is headlined by Johnny Clarke and Michael Prophet and will also include Shooglenifty, Oojami, Yaaba Funk, Romano Jila, Balkan Bandits, Bertie Lee's Blues Band and many more. On Saturday the Earl of Arundel will host a sound system night including Liquid Steel Sound System and Daddy Freddy alongside Junglist Alliance.
