Bloodsport

Bloodsport is an Australian hardcore band from Adelaide, active since 2005. The group comes out of Adelaide’s hardcore scene and plays hardcore with a strong metalcore edge, also associated with mosh and moshcore. It is described as Christian hardcore and as a band built around passionate, message-led songs.

Style and themes

The band’s music is aggressive hardcore with lyrics that deal with spiritual warfare, friendship and overcoming hard times. Its sound is presented as forceful and aimed at live crowd participation, with singalong choruses and a focus on mosh-friendly performances.

Releases

Bloodsport releases a demo in 2006 and an album titled Imprisonment. The album appears on Skull and Bones Records and through Stomp Distribution in Australia, while also being available in New Zealand.
