Chew Lips are an electronic and indie act from London, formed in 2008. The group consists of Tigs on vocals, James Watkins on bass and synthesisers, and Will Sanderson on guitar and synthesisers.

Career

Chew Lips build their sound around lo-fi electronic pop and synth-based arrangements. The group releases the self-produced single “Solo” first, followed by “Salt Air”, both issued through Kitsuné. Their debut album, Unicorn, follows in 2010.

Before Chew Lips

Before joining the group, Tigs releases several singles under the name Tigs. Those recordings receive positive attention and lead to radio play and appearances on NME tours.
