Man Made is also the name of an early seventies psychedelic rock and progressive rock band from Montreal, Quebec. The group releases a sole self-titled album in 1973 on the Good Noise record label. The album becomes a sought-after collector’s item, especially for its first side, which features one continuous 20-minute progressive piece built around organ. The rest of the record mixes classical, soul, and spacey synthesizer sounds with more typical psych-folk material, and includes guitar playing compared with early Pink Floyd.
