Jackmaster

Jackmaster is the DJ name of Scottish musician Jack Revill, a Glasgow-born house DJ and producer who is active in the electronic scene. He is best known as a co-founder of the record label and club night Numbers, and also helps establish Wireblock, Dress 2 Sweat, Point.One Recordings, Seldom Felt and TDSR.

Revill is known primarily as a DJ rather than as a producer, alongside figures such as Ben UFO and Oneman. His work with Numbers includes releases from producers including Deadboy, Redinho, Jamie xx, Untold, Roska, SBTRKT and Lazer Sword. He holds residencies in Glasgow and at Fabric in London, and also plays parties in cities including Barcelona, Paris and Tokyo.

He is recognised within UK club culture through awards and poll placements, including being voted Best DJ in the DJ Magazine Best of British Awards in 2014 and placing in Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJs poll in several years. He also receives the SSE Scottish Music Awards Sub Club Electronic Music Award in 2016 and the Tennents Golden Can Award for Contributions to Scottish Culture in 2017.
