Crushed Beaks

Crushed Beaks is a London group that begins as a duo, with Alex Morris and Matt Poile as its original members. The band builds a reputation for direct, intense live performances before expanding to a trio with the addition of Scott Bowley on bass.

Their release Scatter brings together the group’s interest in horror films and distorted guitar sounds, giving the record a gritty and forceful character. The band is associated with shoegaze, indie pop, indie and indie rock.
