Toy

Toy is a South Korean music project associated with 유희열 and 윤정오 and active from 1994 to the present. It is released on Antenna Music and is known as a project centered on You Hee-yeol.

Background

The project begins as a two-person act, with Yoo Hee-Yeol and Yoon Jeong-Oh working under the Toy name. After the first album, Yoo Hee-Yeol continues to use the name on his own for some releases, while also issuing music under his own name. As a project, Toy also features guest singers on its albums, including Sung Si-Kyung, Kim Yeon-Woo, and Kim Hyung-Joong.

Activity and releases

Toy develops as a long-running Korean project rather than a fixed band line-up. Yoo Hee-Yeol is also the host of the television music programme Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook and works as a solo singer and composer.
