The Payroll Union

The Payroll Union is a British group based in Sheffield and active since 2009. It plays Americana rock and writes songs based on the history of 19th-century the United States. The group’s influences include Bob Dylan, The Who, The Walkmen and Neil Young.

The band releases two EPs, Underfed & Underpaid and Your Obedient Servant, as well as the album The Mule and The Elephant. It builds a presence within the Americana scene in the United Kingdom.
