The Crookes

The Crookes are a British indie rock band from Sheffield, active between 2008 and 2017. They are associated with alternative rock, indie pop and indie rock, and they form part of the Sheffield music scene.

The band line-up consists of George Waite, Daniel Hopewell, Russell Bates and Tom Dakin. Their second LP is due on the indie label Fierce Panda. The group builds a cult underground following known as the “Bright Young Things” and is described as being at the forefront of the emerging New Pop movement in the UK guitar scene.
