L-VIS 1990
L-VIS 1990 is the recording name of James Connolly, a London-based DJ and producer working in electronic music, house, fidget house, bass and UK funky. He co-founds and heads the Night Slugs imprint with Bok Bok. The label grows out of their monthly club night at East Village in London.
Releases and labels
His original material appears on Dress 2 Sweat, Mad Decent, Sound Pellegrino and Tres Cool Records. He also releases the 2010 Forever You EP on Night Slugs.
Remixes and other work
He produces remixes for Crystal Fighters, La Roux, Tony Senghore, Gucci Vump, Sissy Nobby, Supra 1, Kingdom and Mosca, among others. He also works in videography, including videos connected to his remixes of Gucci Vump’s “Sha! Shtil!” and Sissy Nobby’s “Lay Me Down”.
