Lateral Vision

Lateral Vision is a UK group formed in 2009. The line-up develops from an earlier band situation in which Bob starts out as guitarist and Wayne joins as the drummer. Bob and Waz then decide to form a new band of their own, leaving the two of them with a rehearsal room and no music. They begin looking for a singer and bass player and find Andy through the local band scene. Andy joins as vocalist, and the group starts rehearsing and writing as a trio.

After several bass players come and go, Waz suggests Neil, a school friend he has not seen for around 20 years. Contact is made through Facebook, a jam session is arranged, and the group settles into its final form. The band describes itself as four older musicians who can play well, and its story centres on rehearsal, songwriting and gradually assembling the right line-up.
