The Gentlemen

The Gentlemen are an indie rock group based in Sheffield, UK, and active since 2005. They perform in and around the North of England and build an audience through live shows in Sheffield and beyond.

Live activity

The group plays alongside acts including Palladium, The Motorettes and We Are Scientists at The Leadmill in Sheffield. They also play at the Plug in their hometown and appear at a growing number of festival and university concerts.

They perform large European shows, including a set at the Ricoh Arena with Ash and Colin Murray, and play to more than 10,000 people in Holland with national television and radio coverage.

Recordings and media work

The band prepares a single for release in 2009 and stages a live video shoot at a Sheffield show as part of that period. In the run-up to the release, they spend several months performing for national and international television and radio programmes.
