Deltasound start in late 2006 as a four-piece made up of Jonjo McNeill on vocals and guitar, Andrew Ridley on guitar, Adrian Huggins on bass and Craig Hutchinson on drums.

The group works with a sound built around constant change rather than fixed style, drawing on a mix of influences without limiting itself to one genre. Its stated aim is to make music that reflects the idea it hears collectively, and its output is described as evolving rather than settled.
