Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves Of Destiny is a band led by English singer-songwriter Beth Jeans Houghton. The group’s line-up includes Dav Shiel on drums, cajon, keyboard, vocals and steel pan; Rory Gibson on bass and vocals; Findlay Macaskill on violin and vocals; and Blazey Blazey on trumpet, vocals, guitar and drums.

The band releases its album Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose in 2012. In November 2012, Houghton and the band travel to Los Angeles to record a second album at The Boat studio in Silverlake, but the sessions are cancelled after Houghton becomes unhappy with the sound. The second album is never completed. From 2014, Houghton records and writes under the name Du Blonde.
