UKFG — UK Festival Guides

Frequently Asked

Quick answers to the questions we get most often.

Is UK Festival Guides free to use?

Yes — browsing festival listings, reading articles, viewing galleries, and using the search are all completely free. We're supported by advertising and partnerships.

How do I get my festival listed?

Send your festival details — name, dates, venue, ticket link, and a description — to our listings team. We review every submission and aim to respond within 5 working days. Basic listings are free for all qualifying UK events.

How do I update an existing listing?

Email festivals@ukfestivalguides.com with your festival name and what needs changing. Include your official website so we can cross-reference the update.

Do you review festivals?

Yes. Our editorial team attends selected events each year and publishes independent reviews. We also accept reviews from accredited contributors. We do not publish reviews in exchange for payment, free tickets, or any other commercial consideration — see our Editorial Policy for details.

I found incorrect information — how do I report it?

Please email editorial@ukfestivalguides.com with the page URL and the correction. We take accuracy seriously and aim to update errors within 24 hours.

How do I request press accreditation?

Accreditation requests are handled festival by festival. We do not issue third-party press passes — contact the festival's press office directly. If you're a journalist or photographer interested in covering festivals on our behalf, see the next question.

Can I write or photograph for UK Festival Guides?

Yes — we're always open to working with freelance journalists, reviewers and photographers who share our love of live music and the UK festival scene. We commission festival reviews, on-the-ground reportage, interviews, and photo galleries throughout the season, and we credit every contributor in their byline. Whether you're an established writer with a portfolio, or a passionate festival-goer with a strong sample piece, we'd love to hear from you. Email editorial@ukfestivalguides.com with a short intro, links to previous work (or two sample paragraphs / 4–6 sample photos), and the festivals you'd most like to cover. We work with our network on press passes where possible.
