Bingley Music Live has firmly established itself on the festival circuit over the past 6 years and is probably one of the most affordable festivals in the UK. Set in the picturesque grounds of Myrtle Park, BML is a unique 3 day indie/pop festival that has one of the best natured and most responsive crowds around.
Since 2007 there has also been strong growth in the festival’s following with sell out crowds for the past three years. Recent notable performances include Chase and Status, Maximo Park, Feeder, Eliza Doolittle, Mystery Jets, Stereo MC’s, James, The Enemy, Public Image Ltd, Seasick Steve, Editors, Calvin Harris, Doves and The Zutons. It’s the exciting mix of cutting edge, mainstream and alternative bands that makes BML such a great event that consistently impresses audiences and performers alike with its intimate, friendly atmosphere and professional organisation.
As well as the main stage this year sees improvements to the Raise the Roof stage which takes on a distinctly folkie feel. New for 2012 is the introduction of a third stage organised in association with the Musician’s Centre and dedicated to uncovering the latest unsigned local talent.
Throwing its gates open to over 15,000 happy revellers BML provides a chance to really get up close and personal to your favourite bands and means that festival goers can eagerly anticipate getting to the heart of the action. With three glorious days of diverse music, BML delivers ‘Big Heart, Big Sounds’ and real value for money.
