About Back To Back Festival
The Brudenell Social Club dates back to 1913. In Burley, Leeds, Back To Back Festival 2027 runs there on Saturday 23 January as a one-day music festival tied to Independent Venue Week. The 2027 edition follows sell-outs in 2025 and 2026.
The format is built around the venue’s Home and Away stages, with half of the line-up committed to local acts. Advance tickets sit under £5, with Early Bird £3, Advance £4 and On the Door £6.
Lineup and Programme
Announced acts include The Cindys, Normal Village, Oscar Browne, Rhiannon Hope, ladylike and Laughing. The bill moves through indie rock, DIY rock, alt-folk, folk, jazz-influenced folk, post-rock, punk, math-rock and power pop.
Sets run across the Home stage and Away stage. The day is arranged for moving between the two rooms, using the venue bar and catching short live sets across the bill.
Who Is It For?
The crowd is pitched at grassroots live-music fans who are there for new Leeds and UK artists rather than a headline-led arena bill. Cheap tickets matter here.
The local quota gives the event a Leeds spine, while the touring UK acts widen it beyond a city showcase. The Independent Venue Week link keeps it inside the small-room circuit.
The Venue and Site
Brudenell Social Club, Leeds is a club-style music venue in Burley with two large concert rooms, the Main Room and Community Room. The Community Room opened in 2017 with a Mogwai show.
The building has step-free access to both event rooms, an accessible toilet operated with a RADAR key and bar assistance if counter height is a barrier. The club also has a lounge, games room, snooker table, five pool tables, darts, table football and hot pies served at the bar.
