The Coopers
The Coopers are a folk pop four-piece from the United Kingdom. The group forms around a mix of members from different backgrounds: two Australians, an Englishman and a Greek musician.
The band comes to wider attention after only a short time together, with the track “Ripples” being chosen for the E4 comedy The Inbetweeners. It also wins the 2011 Futuresound competition, which gives the group slots at the Leeds and Reading festivals.
The Coopers also appear as feature artists on BBC Introducing and are shortlisted for Best Pop Act in the St Helier’s Online Music Awards.
