RAVELING TO PORTMEIRION
Portmerion may look and feel like a Mediterranean village on the Italian Riviera, but it's only a few hours from Liverpool and the M6 and less than 2 and a half hours from Manchester and only a 3 hour drive from Leeds. (Rail links are good and outlined below)... so leave your passport and euros at home and keep driving on the left!
TRAIN SHUTTLE SERVICE
We will be running a regular shuttle service from Bangor Train Station to make it as simple as possible for you to get to the festival. Key times and information will be released in the coming weeks including the fares for adults and children together with the shuttle-bus timetable.
BY CAR - PARK & RIDE INFORMATION
In order to protect the beautiful surroundings of Port Meirion, and due to the fact that the site has NO PARKING so we are operating a Park & Ride to the site.
The car park is approximately 4 miles from the site, and will take 10-15 minutes on one of our frequent shuttle buses, times of service will be released closer to the time, however you can expect a very regular service on Friday 14th September, and Monday 17th September with a reduced service on Saturday and Sunday.
The shuttle bus will take you directly into the festival, and drop you off right next to the camping fields, minimising the need to trek about with your camping gear.
Please be aware, Festival No.6 gates open from 11:00am on Friday September 14th and the festival site will close at 12:00pm Monday September 17th.
Postcode for the park & ride site is: LL49 9PP

CAR SHARING
Festival No.6 are pleased to be working with goCarShare to help people share car journeys to and from the festival. With the average 100 mile car journey leading to over 20kg of CO2 being produced, goCarShare has the potential to reduce the festival's carbon footprint considerably. It's a great way to save money if you are driving and, as it is built around Facebook, you can find people who like the same music, or who have friends in common. goCarShare has a pricing formula that works out a fair, recommended contribution for passengers to pay drivers so that both save money. It's also a fun way to travel and reduces congestion onsite.
