Race Horses

Race Horses are a Welsh group associated with classic pop and rock, and they are formerly known as Radio Luxembourg. The band originate in Wales and are active from 2005.

History

They form in Aberystwyth, Wales, and later are based in Cardiff. The group includes Ben Herrick, Alun Gaffey, Dylan Hughes, Meilyr Jones, Gwion Llewelyn and Daniel Bradley. Earlier listed members include Mali Llywelyn.

Recordings

Race Horses release their debut album, Goodbye Falkenburg, and the Man in My Mind EP on Fantastic Plastic Records in 2010. Their second album, Furniture, follows in 2012 on Stolen Recordings and PIAS.

Style

The group are described as a psychedelic pop act, with their music also linked to indie, indie rock, psychedelic and experimental styles.
