Tucked away in the picturesque gardens of the Larmer Tree (in the heart of the Cranborne Chase on the Wiltshire/Dorset Border), Larmer Tree Festival truly is the happiest, friendliest, quirkiest festival in the land.
Stunning views, roaming peacocks, colourful macaws, ornate pagodas and mysterious wood; this isn’t your average back garden, but a little step out of reality. Our hand-crafted five day festival party is the perfect chance for you to pack your bags, head to the country side and be completely free from the normality of everyday life.
Born in 1990 and still run by James and Julia and their dedicated team, we stand by our non-corporate ethos and are hugely passionate about what we do – it puts fire in our bellies and makes us jump out of bed every morning (well, most mornings anyway!)
The site itself conceals secret nooks and crannies in between a whopping eight performance venues, and there’s more musical choice than you can shake a stick at – not to mention the comedy club, hilarious street theatre, over 150 free workshops to get stuck into, and stalls full of goodies that will make shopaholics go weak at the knees!
Easily accessible for families using buggies and wheelchair users, we don’t like to leave anyone out and with over 20 delicious food stalls, four well stocked bars and a couple of convenience shops too, you should never be in want of anything… except maybe to come back next year of course!
