Ed Byrne is an Irish stand-up comedian and voice-over artist from Swords, Ireland. Born in 1972, he is known for observational comedy and anecdotal material delivered in a chatty style that can move into more experimental ideas and extended threads.

He is nominated for the Perrier Award and becomes a familiar figure at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he has performed six sell-out shows. He also completes three sell-out tours across the UK and appears to large audiences in Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand and the US.

In television, Byrne presents Uncut! Best Unseen Ads and Just For Laughs, and he is a regular guest on panel games.
