Ciaran Lavery

Ciaran Lavery is a singer-songwriter from Aghagallon in Northern Ireland. He works in folk-influenced music and releases material through AllPoints.

Career

By July 2015, Lavery has accumulated more than 14 million Spotify plays for his early releases. He wins the Hot Press Big Break competition and, around the same period, plays his first headline tour in Ireland. In May 2015, he appears on the cover of Hot Press magazine.

Releases and collaborations

His Sea Legs mini album draws critical attention. It is a collaborative release with Derry-based electronic artist Ryan Vail.

Live work and recognition

Lavery has sold out two headline shows in London and performs at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and Camp Bestival during a summer of festivals across the UK, Europe and Ireland. He also supports The Staves, The Villagers and Stu Larsen. He is nominated as Artist in Residence at the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and is named among the top ten new artists at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton by Nialler9.
