Jarrod Dickenson
Jarrod Dickenson is an American singer-songwriter associated with alt-country, americana, folk and indie-folk. He is from Waco, in the United States, and is also described as Austin-born. He is based in New York from 2013.
His writing focuses on themes such as life, love, hope and despair, with a style built around direct, emotionally exposed lyrics. His voice is a central part of his songs, which are presented as personal stories drawn from lived experience.
He releases his debut album, Ashes On The Ground, in 2009, followed by The Lonesome Traveler in 2012.
