BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend
Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2016 is a super popular festival run by BBC Radio 1 and this year the event is being held at Exeter’s Powderham Castle. It is a free festival which takes place over two days from 28th until 29th May.
The festival is proud to be one of the biggest free live music events there is and combines big name acts with brand new talent. For 2016 confirmed acts include Coldplay, Bring Me The Horizon, Chase & Status, Craig David and Ellie Goulding. More acts are waiting to be announced and with free tickets and such a hugely popular event the tickets will be obtained through a lottery, with the results revealed on 21st March.
