Blossoms

Blossoms are an English indie pop and indie rock band from Stockport, United Kingdom. Formed in 2013, the group is made up of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock. Ogden is credited with lead vocals and guitar; Salt with bass, synthesizer and backing vocals; Dewhurst with lead guitar and percussion; Donovan with drums; and Kellock with keyboards, synthesizer and backing vocals. The band is active from 2013 to the present and records on ODD SK Recordings.

Blossoms’ style is listed across alternative pop, alternative rock, indie pop and indie rock. They appear on the BBC Sound of new music list for 2016 and finish fourth, and are noted as one of only two guitar bands on that list, alongside Rat Boy. Their self-titled debut album is nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2017. The band are described as an English rock band from Stockport, Greater Manchester, and as an English indie pop group.
