Southsea Seafront gives Victorious Festival 2027 its site in Southsea, with a music bill spanning rock, pop, indie, dance/electronic, world music and hip-hop/rap.

The scale is fixed at 65,000 people per day. The official archive begins with the 2013 edition, and a 2017 trader pack described Victorious as being in its fifth year.

The 2027 edition runs from 27–29 August 2027.

Lineup and Programme

More than 10 stages are listed for the site, including two main stages. Two main stages anchor the bill. Named areas include Common Stage Arena, Castle Stage Arena, Under the Trees Stage, The Bandstand, World Music Stage, People's Lounge, Henry's House at Southsea Castle, Kids Arena Kid's Stage and Spoken Arts Parlour.

The programme covers live music, family entertainment, food and drink, spoken word and poetry, workshops, drumming and dance activities, skate sessions, roller discos and castle DJ sets.

Who Is It For?

The audience is multi-generational, with headline-scale music programming alongside a defined family area. Families are part of the build.

The Kids Arena spans 30,000 square metres and carries free entertainment, activities and performances. Anyone aged 15 or under must be accompanied on the main festival site by an adult aged 21 or over with a valid ticket.

The Venue and Site

Southsea Castle sits inside the wider seafront setting, with the festival using The Common and Castle Field in Portsmouth. It is a large seafront site.

Facilities listed for the event include baby change and feeding tent, medical and welfare tents, quiet and sensory spaces, accessible toilets, BSL interpretation, mobile lockers, bicycle park, food traders and bars. Free drinking water points are placed around the site, and the official app includes a GPS-powered map.

Camping is offsite only at Farlington Fields. No camping is permitted inside the event, and the offsite campsite lists toilets, showers, food and coffee stalls, 24-hour security, medical and welfare, lighting, cooking/BBQ areas, rubbish disposal, mobile-phone charging and a Camp & Ride shuttle bus.

Travel to Victorious Festival

Southsea Seafront sits in Portsmouth on the Hampshire coast. The festival recommends walking from nearby stations.

• Train: Portsmouth & Southsea is about 25 minutes on foot, Fratton 27 minutes, and Portsmouth Harbour 30 minutes.
• Road access: routes listed for the area include Avenue De Caen, Clarence Parade, Victoria Avenue, Palmerston Road, Duisburg Way, Western Road, Eastern Road and the M27/A27.
• Parking: there is no general onsite parking. Parking options listed by the festival include Lakeside North Harbour shuttle parking, limited Blue Badge onsite parking, limited premium parking for Gardens/Hideaway upgrade holders and nearby public car parks.
