Good Neighbours

Good Neighbours is a London-based group active from 2023. The act is associated with indie, indie pop, dance and guitar music, and is credited as a group with Good Scott as a member.

Style and approach

The project focuses on instrumental music built from simple melodic loops, Rhodes and bass. Its sound sits between ambient textures and danceable rhythms, with pieces designed to create wide, atmospheric musical landscapes as well as music for movement.

Musical influences

Good Neighbours draws on the work of The American Analog Set, The Six Parts Seven, The Mercury Program and the Feel Good Lost-era Broken Social Scene. The music is shaped by these influences through its use of layered loops, melodic repetition and spacious arrangements.

Formation

The band develops from a collaborative effort by Olivier Masson, Nathalie Laplante and Alexandre Laplante, who spend two years crafting the sound behind the project.
