The Southport Weekender was first conceived by Alex Lowes and Dave Gardener in 1987 and this year it celebrates its 26th year. It will be held in the recently refurbished Butlins Holiday Resort in Minehead in Somerset from the 10th May to 12 May 2013. The festival is a well known dance event which features a variety of acts and types of dance music such as soul, hip-hop, vocal, house, disco, techno and more.
