Ralf Gum is a German producer and DJ born in 1971, associated with afro house, dance, deep house, electronic, house and jazz house. He begins making music in 1993 and develops a sound built around live instrumentation, funky harmonies and house rhythms, with a strong emphasis on soulful groove.

Performance history

He plays at more than 250 clubs and events in Germany and internationally. In Würzburg, the Airport becomes a regular base for his house sets from 1998, where he performs every Friday night and appears alongside guest DJs. From 2006 he also plays at Climax in Stuttgart, and from 2008 at APT in Frankfurt.

Collaborations

Ralf Gum works with artists including Inaya Day, Monique Bingham, Beate S. Lech, Michael Procter and Concha Buika. His productions are known in the house scene for combining soulful elements with dancefloor-oriented production.
