About Slam Dunk Festival - North
After outgrowing Leeds city-centre sites, Slam Dunk Festival - North 2027 runs at Temple Newsam, Leeds as a one-day alternative music festival rooted in emo, pop-punk, metalcore and ska. It dates back to a single-stage 2006 edition at Millennium Square in Leeds. The North site moved to Temple Newsam in 2019, and the festival marked its 20th year in 2026.
North 2027 is scheduled for Saturday 29 May 2027. Capacity is listed at 15,000.
Who Is It For?
The audience is all ages, centred on alternative-music fans. Under-5s go free. Ages 5 and over require a full-priced ticket, and the festival notes there are no activities or entertainment directly for children.
The Venue and Site
Temple Newsam sits around four to five miles from Leeds city centre, with the festival using the estate site on Temple Newsam Road, LS15 0AE. There is no on-site camping.
Live music runs across the festival site, with food and drink areas, signings and other activations also listed. Raised viewing platforms are in place at every stage. Accessible toilets, Changing Places units and lowered bar service areas are part of the access provision, with an access hub on site and free accessible parking by application.
