About Mint Festival
Mint Festival 2027 takes place at Newsam Green Farm, Leeds, as an electronic music festival rooted in house, techno and UK garage.
The Leeds event launched in 2012 at Lotherton Hall as a 10,000-capacity festival with four stages. Capacity rose. By 2015 it had expanded to two days at Wetherby Racecourse, with daily capacity listed at 11,000, before a 2016 edition at The Tetley in Leeds city centre used five stages.
Lineup and Programme
The bill leans into house, tech house, techno, UK garage, minimal house, deep tech, drum & bass and dubstep. Named stages include The Bunker, The Orchard and The Barn.
Sets are DJ-led. The official afterparty is at Mint Warehouse, with on-site food stalls and a cloakroom listed among the facilities.
Who Is It For?
The crowd is primarily adult electronic and dance music fans, with 2026 coverage describing a largely student-age audience.
Entry is 18+. Challenge 25 is enforced, with valid photo ID required for anyone who appears 25 or under.
The Venue and Site
Newsam Green Farm puts Mint on an open-air site around 6 miles from Leeds city centre. Camping is not allowed.
Facilities on site include a cloakroom, food stalls and port-a-loos. Payments are cashless/contactless across the site, and the venue is listed as handicapped-accessible.
