Indietracks Music Festival is dedicated to underground pop and has bands playing across four separate stages by the side of the village of Swanwick in the Amber Valley. 2000 people come together to enjoy heritage trains and indiepop music in the picturesque surrounds of the Derbyshire countryside. The event takes place at the Steam Railway Centre at Butterly, not far from Ripley.

In 2015 the Indietracks Music Festival is taking place from 24th until 26th July and is packed with a mixture of well-known indiepop acts and bright new talent. The line-up includes Cinerama, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, The Go! Team, Laetitia Sadier (former singer with Stereolab), The Wave Pictures, The Luxembourg Signal, Colour Me Wednesday, Fever Dream, Tuff Love, The Ethical Debating Society, Cristina Quesada, Rodney Cromwell, Martha, Tigercats, Euros Childs, Desperate Journalist, Mammoth Penguins, The School, Bunnygrunt, The Catenary Wires, The Tuts, Los Bonsais, Fire Island Pines, The Fireworks, JUNK., The Leaf Library, and Eureka California. More artists are being added to the bill regularly and there are bands performing on trains, indoors, in the open air and in the surrounding area for your enjoyment.
