The Knockengorroch World Ceilidh is a world music festival held yearly among the Carsphairn hills in South West Scotland which celebrates the music of the Celtic diaspora as well as plenty of other entertainment such as comedy, cabaret, dance, heritage and arts workshops, real ales, global food, stalls, camping, fire shows, a healing area, session villages, open fires, children's activities and much more.
The festival is born out of a love for roots music and aims to bring some of the best music to the hills of Galloway. Having begun life in the middle of 1998 the festival has changed extensively since and move from strength to strength.
