About Pavilion Festival
After starting on Ayr's seafront in 2023, Pavilion Festival 2027 runs at Low Green, Ayr as an 18+ dance music festival.
South Ayrshire Council papers describe it as an annual event granted since that first edition. Scale has shifted: the 2023 licence application set out a 7,500-a-day crowd, while 2026 paperwork projected over 11,000 people across two days.
The listed dates are 1-2 May 2027.
Lineup and Programme
The bill leans into dance music, house, techno and electronic sets. Published stage names include Electric Brae Main Stage, Ten Tent, Sub Club, Pavilion Arms (Lab 54), STREETrave and RAVEcave.
The programme centres on DJ and live-act sets across the arena. Festival activity also covers drinks tokens, bars and extras such as big-wheel rides.
Who Is It For?
This is an adult dance-music crowd. Published event information states 18+ only, with Challenge 25 in operation and hologram photo ID required.
The Venue and Site
Low Green is the anchor: an open-air seafront site in Ayr. The festival has used a festival-village layout with public and VIP bars.
Facilities recorded for the site include token booths, food vendors, merchandise stalls, a big wheel and a portable phone-charging stall. Free nearby car parking includes seafront car parks.
