Krafty Kuts, also known as Martin Reeves, is a DJ and producer from Brighton, United Kingdom. He works in breakbeat and old-school hip hop, and his credited genres also include electronica, grime, hip hop, house and nu skool breaks.

Career

He has been active since the late 1980s and builds his reputation around breakbeats and hip hop. Before touring internationally as a DJ, he runs a record shop in Brighton. His work includes a large number of mix albums and original productions, alongside club DJ sets.

Releases and label work

One of his noted releases is Freakshow, which appears on his own label, Against The Grain. He is associated with that label as a release outlet for his material.

Club night

He also co-founds the breakbeat night SuperCharged with Skool of Thought. The event is held at Audio in Brighton and features a broad selection of bass music, including drum and bass, dubstep, turntablism and breaks.
