Ixindamix is a techno and freetekno artist associated with Spiral Tribe and SP 23. She joins Spiral Tribe in 1991 after moving away from ethno towards techno, and travels with the group to London for a winter of warehouse parties. In 1992 and 1993 she develops her mixing in warehouses in Paris after the Criminal Justice Bill in England pushes the tribe to take its sound further afield.

In the winter of 1993 she enters the Spiral Studio, working around pregnancy while living and performing with an underground sound system. She develops the sound that becomes known as Acid Cheese and continues playing at Spiral raves. She also helps organise the first Czechtek in 1994, which helps kickstart the techno scene there, and makes her first analogue live sets with SP 23.

She later performs across Germany, Holland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal and post-war Bosnia with Desert Storm, continuing to develop a live set built for dancefloors and described by her own slogan, “all races in all places”. In the new millennium she co-founds the Audiotrix record label with long-term partner Meltdown Mickey. The label is set up to give musicians full musical freedom and to encourage mixing techno with more traditional genres, with dancefloor impact still central. Collaborations from the label include BIOBEATS, which becomes a label in its own right and combines an old-school feel with nu-skool breaks.

Ixindamix goes on to develop a live electronic sound in different tempos and rhythmic structures, while also working as a DJ. She maintains sets spanning techno, breakbeat and drum and bass, and plays both her own productions and “cheesecore stylee” material at clubs, teknivals and other events internationally.
