Jersey Live has been described as "Surreal, sexy and super cool" by Kasbian's Tom Meighan, as having "more pulling power than any other small festival" by Radio One's Edith Bowman. Bowman, along with Zane Lowe, hosted the Main Stage in 2006 and has been followed in subsequent years by Huw Stephens, Craig Charles and Mani of The Stone Roses, who have all acted as Main Stage compere at the festival.
Jersey Live is attended by locals and visitors to the island, with non-locals accounting for a quarter of the attendance. Set in the rural heart of the island of Jersey, Channel Islands, only 14 miles from the coast of France, Jersey Live is the British Isles' most southerly festival.
