My Nu Leng

My Nu Leng are a Bristol-based duo whose music draws on a wide range of influences across dubstep, house, future garage and UK garage. Their sound moves between pitch-shifted vocals, bass-heavy textures and deeper club-oriented rhythms, and they play across different genres and tempos in live sets and on their weekly Rood FM radio show.

The pair hold a residency at Thekla for the forward-looking club night 51’27. Their release history includes the Elite EP on BB, issued as part of the Spread Love series, as well as Time Goes By on MindStep Music, the Damp EP on Lo-Note UK, and The Grid b/w Hips & Thighs on 877 Records. These releases show a style that reworks garage influences through dark, moody production, with heavier rhythms, scuttling textures and four-to-the-floor beats.
