There are creative workshops, art installations and live talks where artists share stories behind the music. Kids and families are well catered for with special areas just for younger festival-goers. And of course, the food and drink scene is a highlight – local chefs and global street food traders bring fresh flavors to keep everyone energized as they explore the site.

From Bournemouth Airport you can take a taxi or hire car to the festival. Visitors often fly into Southampton Airport (around an hour's drive) or into London (Heathrow or Gatwick) and continue to Dorset by train or coach. The easiest rail route is from London Waterloo to Bournemouth (roughly 2-2.5 hours journey). From Bournemouth Railway Station, taxis and sometimes festival shuttle buses can take you the last 30-minute leg to the site. It's also possible to take trains to nearby Salisbury or Poole and then switch to a local taxi or bus for the final part of the journey.
By car, set your satnav to the address St Giles House, Wimborne St Giles, Dorset, BH21 5NA. The festival lies in beautiful rural countryside, accessed via main roads. For example, drivers coming from the west or north might use the A31 through Dorchester and Blandford, while those coming from the south or east can take the A338/A31 via Southampton. If traveling from London, the route runs down the M3 and then follows the A31 through the New Forest. On-site parking is usually available (often sold as an extra), so try to arrive early. We strongly encourage car sharing (via Liftshare or similar services) to reduce traffic. Bringing friends or fellow attendees in a full car helps the environment and your budget. Note that some rural roads near the site are narrow, so be prepared for slower traffic on busy festival weekends.
By public transport: Wimborne St Giles is a small village with no direct train or bus service, so most visitors travel via a nearby town. For example, coaches and trains can get you to Bournemouth, Poole or Salisbury (each about 30-45 minutes from the site by road). From there you will need to take a taxi or local bus (the Dorset Buses 13 or 20 routes serve Blandford and Wimborne Minster) to reach the festival grounds. National Express coaches and other operators serve larger hubs like Bournemouth and Poole, from which the final leg is by road. In practice, many people go to Bournemouth by train or coach and then finish the trip by road into Dorset.
For accommodation: many festival-goers camp on site in the official campgrounds or glamping areas (if available). The organizers usually sell camping passes, which are highly recommended if you want to sleep under the stars at St Giles House. If you prefer nearby lodging, the historic market town of Wimborne Minster (about 7 miles south) offers B&Bs, inns and small hotels. Blandford Forum (to the north) and the coastal towns of Poole or Bournemouth (each roughly 20-30 minutes' drive) have larger hotel options. Dorset is known for its country cottages and farm stays too. You might find a cozy farm B&B or village guesthouse within 15-20 minutes of the festival. Wherever you stay, book as early as possible: local rooms fill up fast during festival season.
