The Zawose Queens is Tanzanian duo Pendo Zawose and Leah Zawose from Bagamoyo (who are offspring of singer and musician Hukwe Zawose). The duo's 2024 debut album, "Maisha", marks the first album by female members of Tanzania's renowned Zawose musical family.
