Yoofee is a German musician and pianist whose work draws on jazz, soul, funk and electronic music, including drum and bass, UK garage, dubstep, house and broken beat.

Raised in a small town near Berlin, he grows up in a musical household as the son of a jazz DJ. The record collection of his parents and his African roots shape his early listening. He starts playing piano at the age of four and soon performs as a solo pianist. From an early stage, he studies through masterclasses and meets international jazz musicians who influence his playing and development.

He begins composing at ten and forms his first band at thirteen, also starting to play concerts around that time. Later, through friends, he is introduced to UK-led electronic styles, which become part of his wider approach. His live work ranges from unplugged performances to underground club settings, often with selected musicians in different line-ups and formations.

Yoofee studies at the Jazz University in Berlin and tours with Footprint Project, Wanubalè, Jembaa Groove and his trio. He also produces for and with a wide range of artists, continuing to look for new influences across different styles.
