DBridge is the performing name of Darren White, a UK drum and bass artist and producer. He is associated with breakbeat, breaks, club, dance, drum and bass and drumstep, and is linked with Exit Records.

Career

DBridge begins recording in the early period of drum and bass in 1994. He first appears as part of Future Forces Inc., a duo with DJ Jason Maldini, with releases on the first Renegade Hardware records. He later joins DJ Fresh and Vegas in Bad Company, a drum and bass super-group active in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

With Bad Company, he helps release tracks including Planet Dust, Nitrous and The Nine. He later works under the member names Drum Kru, Bad Company UK, Heart Drive, Module Eight and The Binary Collective.

Solo work and labels

DBridge releases his first solo album, The Gemini Principle, in 2008. He owns the record imprint Exit Records, which releases the Mosaic compilation series, including Mosaic Vol 1 and Mosaic Vol 2.

Other projects and collaborations

His project Heart Drive with Kid Drama consists of a series of podcasts previewing autonomic tracks from the pair. He also collaborates with Instra:mental, Fierce, Break, Survival, Calibre and Skream. Under the alias Velvit, he also creates techno and house.
