Anaiis

Anaiis, formerly known as Anaïs, is a London-based French-Senegalese singer-songwriter working across alternative pop, alternative R&B, pop, progressive, R&B and soul. Born in Toulouse, France to a Senegalese father and a Franco-Italian mother, she starts out playing violin and singing in a classical choir.

She moves to Dublin at the age of ten, learns English there and begins experimenting as a songwriter. She later relocates to California, where first encounters with gospel and R&B shape an interest in soul music, and then to New York, where she graduates from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU.

Her debut EP, before zero, comes out in 2018. She follows it with the albums darkness at play in 2019 and this is no longer a dream in 2021.
