Alia

Alia is an Australian electro-pop act, listed as a person and associated with the names Alia Williams and Can't Do Without You. The project is based in Australia and is identified with the genres J-rock, emo, Japanese, rock and German.

There are several artists using the name Alia. One is a Los Angeles-based thereminist, composer and multidisciplinary artist who combines theremin with instruments such as the kacapi and Arabic nay, along with synths, to create ambient soundscapes. Another is アリア, a six-piece band that debuts in July 2018 with the mini album AliVe, whose title track is limit. That band includes vocalist AYAME, guitarist Okamura Eren, keyboardist TKT (Takuto), violinist RINA, bassist SEIYA and drummer BOB, with two women and four men in the lineup, and several members also serving or having served as support musicians in other bands. A third artist named Alia is Alyah Rivière, a Belgian DJ from Leuven.
