A popular folk art festival, Towersey has been confirmed as back for its 53rd year in 2017. It will return to Thame Showground in Oxfordshire from 25th until 28th August. It is an event with a traditional folk feel, although more recent years have seen it become more eclectic and diverse.

No line-up has been confirmed for Towersey Festival 2017 but there will be vibrant programme of folk and roots music. There will also be plenty of international dance, family entertainment, ceilidhs and a dedicated children’s festival for younger festival goers to enjoy. The 2017 Towersey Ceilidh theme has also yet to be announced.
