The Blockheads
The Blockheads are a UK group associated with funk, new wave and rock and roll, and are known as the band that continues after Ian Dury. They play together after Dury’s death in 2000, following many years performing with him as Ian Dury and the Blockheads.
The group’s membership includes Chaz Jankel, Gilad Atzmon, The Breezeblocks, Terry Edwards, Mick Gallagher, Lee Harris, Derek Hussey, Dave Lewis, Davey Payne, John Roberts, John Turnbull, Norman Watt-Roy and Dylan Howe. They release material on Blockheads LTD.
In 2009, the band releases Staring Down The Barrel.
