Van Susans

Van Susans are a UK pop rock group based in London’s suburban areas. The line-up consists of Olly Andrews, Will Showler, Holly McLatchie and brothers Rob Dullaway and Ed Dullaway. The group uses lead and backing vocals, guitars, keyboards and, at times, violin, with Holly McLatchie also playing violin.

Style and influences

The band focuses on melodic harmonies and songs about love and heartbreak, combining acoustic rhythms with electric guitar riffs. Their influences include Jack’s Mannequin, Jimmy Eat World, Something Corporate, Dashboard Confessional, Jamie T and Incubus. They are also tagged with britpop.

Releases and live work

Van Susans are signed to Beatnik Geek Records. Their debut EP, We Could Be Scenery, establishes the band’s emphasis on hooks, choruses and sing-along melodies. They also release the album Paused In The Moment. Before that debut release, they spend time writing and touring, and they play established London venues including Indigo2 and the Grand in Clapham.
