Launched at The Castle in 2012, Castlefest 2026 at The Castle, Luton is a rock and alternative music event with a heavy, punk and indie edge.

The bill leans away from mainstream pop and into rock, alternative rock, heavy rock, punk and indie. Promoter Paul joined the Castlefest team in 2013.

Lineup and Programme

Announced acts include InMe and False Reality. The 2026 listings name InMe as Friday headliner and False Reality as Saturday headliner.

Two stages are recorded for The Castle: an indoor stage and a courtyard outside stage. The programme also includes live bands, DJs and acoustic sets.

Who Is It For?

Castlefest is aimed at a grassroots adult alternative-music crowd. Fans of local and national bands sit at the centre of the audience.

Entry is 16+. The age limit frames the event as an older-teen and adult live-music crowd.
