About Equinox Festival

Scholey Park in Coningsby, Lincolnshire, is the site for Equinox Festival 2026, a multi-genre music festival spanning dub, reggae, disco and electronic music. The project dates back to September 2016. Its official history also states that Equinox Festival has been powered by Medieval Chemistry Limited since 2015.

The festival carries a not-for-profit positioning and lists more than 100 bands, DJs and artists across six stages.

Lineup and Programme

Six stages carry the programme. The named stages are Crispy Disco, Big Dub, Lunar, Sunrise, Busk Stop and Soundscape Solar Stage, with the Soundscape stage listed as solar-powered.

The music brief runs from disco, funk, reggae and dub into bass music, jungle, drum and bass, electronic, techno, acoustic, world music, psytrance, punk, folk, electro swing, breaks, glitch and tech funk. Beyond the stages, the programme includes fire shows and late-night programming. Workshops, heritage crafts, healing areas and children’s activities sit outside the straight music schedule.

Who Is It For?

It is family-oriented by policy. The audience is a multi-generational alternative music crowd, with published information covering child tickets, family camping and mobility camping.

There is no stated blanket minimum age. Under-14s need free tickets, under-18s must attend with a responsible adult aged 21+, and one adult aged 25+ may accompany up to two under-18s.

The Venue and Site

Scholey Park sits on Kirkby Lane in Coningsby, Lincolnshire, at LN4 4PD. The festival terms define the venue as the car park, campsite and arena.

On-site camping is available from Thursday at 2:00pm until Monday midday, with separate family camping and a dedicated mobility camping area. There are no showers on site. Facilities include first aid, Psycare UK welfare support, food and drink traders, a bar and a designated BBQ cooking area.

Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead.

Travel

Metheringham is the nearest railway station. Road access is published for approaches from the north and south, and vehicle passes are required for parking.

• Nearest station: Metheringham Railway Station.
• From the north: A1(M), Coddington exit, A17 southbound, A153 toward Sleaford and Horncastle, then High Street B1192.
• From the south: M3, M25 J2, M1 J21, M1 J13, A421, A1, J17/A1139 slip road, A47, A16, A17, A52, Hubberts Bridge Road/B1192, then Main Road/B1192.
• Parking: vehicle passes are required. Cars are £20 pre-purchase or £25 at the gate, live-in vehicles are £40 or £45, and caravans plus car are £60 or £65.
• Site rules: cars are not permitted in the camping fields, and caravans must also have a car parking ticket.
